Collecting Foo / Grohl

Because creating a whole Foo Fighters or Dave Grohl discography would be far too much work at once, I have chosen to display my love of music and particulary the work of the Foo Fighters and Mr. Grohl one item of interest at a time. 

I’ve been a dedicated follower and hardcore collector for a long while now, and it has become time to share some info and stories about some great items that are out there. I'll probably start with a completely random item, and then just see what I feel like putting up. But please feel free to request some info on an item, and I'll look into it.

So if you are a fellow collector who is just looking for more info on an item, this is the place to be, and if you are just starting to collect (or just love music) I’ll try to share my passion with you. Also, this is my first blog, so be patient with me.

My name is Boy, born in 1979 and I hail form The Netherlands. As a kid I witnessed the explosion of Nirvana, Pearl Jam, Smashing Pumpkins and other great bands front row. I was just a wee teenager back then, and I just loved this fuzz laden music. I started buying music early on, and soon came to the conclusion that I am a completist. I didn't just want the album, no I had to have that one Japanese version with the hard to find bonus track on it. I just had to get that obscure cassette that had the special “exclusive” live track. That spiralled into collecting a number of bands. Such as Pearl Jam but most of all Foo Fighters and all things Grohl. 

It’s not that I collect clippings of all sort, and want to know all about someones personal life, No, not at all. I just want to hear and experience music. That’s my real passion. But hey don’t we all share that passion?
